Medical peels

Medical peels are fundamental procedures offered by modern aesthetic medicine. They have a complex mechanism of action, causing total or partial exfoliation of the epidermis. The peeling process strongly stimulates collagen production and skin metabolism. During the treatment, moisturizing, regenerating, and healing substances are delivered to the deep layers of the skin.

The efficacy of a peel depends on its chemical composition. Typically, these procedures are performed to brighten the skin, smooth fine lines, stimulate deep skin layers for renewal, resulting in an improvement in its appearance and condition, and delaying the aging process. For therapeutic purposes, peels are used in treating acne-related damage (pigmentation and skin irregularities) and active acne.

It is worthwhile to undergo these treatments. Medical peels are suitable for everyone, regardless of age, and should be the basis of proper skin care, especially since they do not require exclusion from daily activities. In addition to their therapeutic effects, by exfoliating the epidermis, they enhance the absorption of active substances, usually found in expensive creams. In my clinic, I offer a wide range of peels, catering to both sensitive and resistant skin types.
